Seamless steel pipes are widely used. Seamless steel pipes for general use are rolled by ordinary carbon structural steel, low alloy structural steel or alloy structural steel, with the highest output, and are mainly used as pipes or structural parts for conveying fluids.
According to different uses, seamless steel pipes are supplied in three categories:
a. Supply by chemical composition and mechanical properties
b. Supply by mechanical properties
c. Supply by water pressure test
Steel pipes supplied by class a and class c should also be subjected to hydrostatic test if they are used for liquid pressure.

Seamless steel pipes have hollow sections and are widely used as pipes for conveying fluids, such as oil, natural gas, coal gas, water and some solid materials.
